Fruit on a stick

Today Mommy brought home a super gigantic oversized basket full of chocolate covered fruit on sticks because Mommy said the baby in her belly was craving this. I overheard daddy say that pregnant people are 'erratic'. I'm not sure what erratic means, but my guess is that it means 'very pretty'. I'm not sure why Daddy got smacked in the head for calling Mommy pretty though. (Please note: Daddy helped me type this).

I now like to wear Batman Baby Bear's gloves on my hands. It helps complete my Batman look. This afternoon when I was watching Batman on the TV with Mommy I called Daddy on the phone at work and asked him to "bring Riley home a Batman mask." Daddy said it made his day.

Here I am helping Mommy eat the white and dark chocolate covered bananas. Yummy.
Happiness on a stick.
Good until the last bite.
Not to worry, not all the fruit was dipped in chocolate. I also tried the kiwi, mango, a ton of strawberries, all the grapes and some of the chocolate dipped pineapple flowers.
I ate the piece of melon in the middle and took a bite of the pineapple, but I left the rest for my Dad.
Then I changed into my Batman pajamas (I have several pairs, so don't worry I only let my parents dress me in clean jammies though it looks like I'm always wearing the same pair.) Check out my driving gloves. They are a little small, but they work.
I hope baby bear doesn't get mad at me for borrowing his gloves.
Though I love my gloves, my favorite part is still my cape.

Super Baby Bear is now Batman Baby Bear

I love my baby bear. Mom and Dad made him for me when they were 6 months pregnant with me. He has now quickly become one of my favorite toys. Here I am with baby bear a couple of weeks ago.
Tonight, Mom remembered that Grammie had gotten me extra outfits for baby bear. Thankfully, baby bear now comes complete with a Batman outfit. I love it and so does he....I think.
I'm a little jealous of his mask and have been asking for one of my own on a daily basis. I thought maybe Grammie had one at her house so I got on my Batman bike and said I was going to Grammie's house. Mommy said it was very far away and I said, "ok, I'm taking my bike very far away".
Baby bear looks so cute dressed like me. I love it.
Making sure baby bear can see out of his mask.
My other favorite part of his outfit is the gloves. Too bad he doesn't have boots though. I love wearing my yellow batman/rain boots.

Ice Cream!

This is one of my favorite summer treats. Aunt Woo Woo spoiled me when I was little by taking me to Marble Slab and now it is one of my favorite places. Mom and I had been at dinner with Sharon and her family to celebrate Ms. Kathy's birthday. It was fun, but I was a little sad that I didn't get to go to Sharon's house after dinner, since they were headed to a movie. So Mom took me for ice cream to celebrate Ms. Kathy's Happy Birthday. I picked Chocolate Swiss ice cream with marshmallows and of course a fancy cone.
Very focused.
I found a marshmallow.
Big bite.

The look of sheer bliss.
It was almost the size of my head.
I see another marshmallow.
Going in for the kill.....and getting sleepy.

My knee owies

Today I was playing outside and I fell down and scraped my knees. Dad got me all fixed up, though I walked so sad and slow today, but I never cried or complained.
Playing games at sesamestreet.com with Mommy.
I take computer classes at school, so I'm becoming a real pro.
Showing Mommy how it's done.

My mohawk

School was closed today for the upcoming 4th of July holiday so I stayed home with Mommy. Daddy came at lunch and brought us food. Then he had to go back to work for a little bit, so me and mommy took a nap. (oops, Mommy and I....need to work on my grammar skills). Daddy came home early from work and brought Starbucks, yum. That night Mommy went to a casino with Sharon and her family, so it was just Daddy and I. We played and flew around the house like Batman. After bathtime, we decided to run through the sprinklers. Somewhere along the way I ended up with a mohawk...awesome.

Lunchtime.
Special treat from my Dad.
Bat-time.
My tough new attitude to go with my tough new haircut
Ok, I'm still sweet.
A close up of the new 'do.

Sprinkler time.
The other way.
Loving some sprinklers.
Perfecting the zig zag.

4th of July Parade at school

I was so excited for my parade at shool. I made a special red, white and blue windsock and was all ready to go with my parade song, "twinkle twinkle 50 stars".
Here I am with my friend Will.
Watching the parade come by our classroom (last year it was outside and 100 degrees, Mom was excited it was inside this year).
Mom telling Will and I to smile. I'm smiling, but slightly embarassed by my Mom.
Getting ready to march in the parade.
Leading the preschool kids along the parade route. Come on guys.
Celebrating the holidays with my new Batman sheets and bedding. Now we only have to wait on my new mattress.

My day with mommy

I stayed home with Mommy today. We had an impromptu play date with Bobby and Ben (thanks for coming over guys). And then we all went to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes, where Bobby and I proceeded to call ourselves the "Muffin Man" while eating some of the yummy muffins there. Though, really my favorites were raisins and crackers....I'm a simple man. After nap time, Mommy took me to the swim park by our house. Daddy met up with us when he got off of work. I was so excited to see him.
A little slide action.
Playing with the overhead sprinklers.
Catching a ride on Dad.
Notice I have a ice cream cone in one hand and am tasting Mommy's popsicle. This is the ultimate ice cream treat.
Sharing bites with Mom.
I ended up finishing off the whole cone....yum.
Going up the big slide with Daddy. Somehow only Daddy rode the slide today (I got scared and wanted down).
Pulling on the water ropes with Mom.
Playing in the fountains....we're soaked.
Soaking wet and ready to go home. What a day!!!
