My New Slide

I got a new slide. Awesome. It can go inside or out. Right now it is too cold, so it stays inside. I helped Dad put it together. The box said it would take 10 minutes. I don't count minutes yet, but it seemed like forever.

I love my slide. I slide down it about a million times a day (remember I can't count yet, but I think that is an accurate figure). If anyone wants to come over and slide, I would love to have some sliding company. My parents are too old to slide.

My Day with Mom and Dad

I woke up super excited to celebrate Pants-less Day. I was slightly disappointed to find out it was President's Day. I love Presidents, but there is something about not wearing pants that is delightful.

I slide faster, run faster and am generally more comfortable without pants. Notheless, it was president's day, so I put on a nice pair of corduroy pants to celebrate. Mommy and Daddy took me to Dallas, where we ate lunch at Grimaldi's pizza and went to the Aquarium.
I saw all sorts of animals, it was cool. Mommy was scared when the Black Panther kept eyeing me. She even made me move away from the glass. Daddy said it was a good thing she didn't see the sharks behind us in the aquarium tunnel.
On the way home, we went by the Grassy Knoll, where a JFK left us too soon. We came home and cleaned up and organized my room. We moved out some baby clothes and toys, to make room for my big boy stuff. YEAH!!!! I like everything to be clean and organized, just like my dad.

Daddy said if I tried to go pantless I would be arrested.....looks like he was right, the cops are tough here in Dallas.

Happy Pants-less Day!!

I love this holiday!! Hope you have a Happy Pants-less Day!!

My Big Weekend

On Friday my Grandmom and Grandpop came to visit. They drove up from League City (Mommy's hometown). Mommy came and picked me up from school early. When we walked in the door we were surprised to see Grandmom and Grandpop.

They brought me some presents. Clothes (boring) and books (yeah!!!). I even got some toys and super big bunny. It was a rainy weekend, but we still had lots of fun. I went on a wagon ride with Grandpop, it was a little rainy, but I loved it. I read lots of books with Grandmom and we played with all my toys and blocks. I got to go eat at a Rainforest Cafe, a cheesecake factory and an awesome seafood restaurant.

I will have to go to the gym all week to work off the extra calories. When I woke up from my nap on Sunday after brunch they were gone. I looked all around the house and couldn't find them. Mom and Dad told me I would see them again real soon. I'm going to Austin for Aunt Wendy's Birthday, so only two more weeks.

Two wild and crazy guys

Me and my dad are quite the pair. We like to ride in Daddy's car and put the windows down and let the breeze blow through our hair. Daddy says we are cool dudes.

Hello ladies.....

I got a new swimsuit. It is awesome. It has SPF in the shirt, so mommy and daddy say it will protect me from the sun. It has a matching hat which I refuse to wear indoors. Let me know what you think. I'm thinking it is the perfect outfit for a swimming adventurer. It has pockets so I can collect shells and shell creatures.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day

My mom bought lots of balloons for me and my friends. We are having a Valentine's Day party. YEAH!!!

I got to eat lots of cookies and pineapples and I even got apple juice.

I love parties. We turned on the bubble machine and I was dancing to the Backyardigans. Valentines Day is the best.

I hope everyone had an awesome Backyardigan Valentine's Day.

ROARRRRRRR

I've had a pretty big week. I learned the concept of up and down which I play in the form of a game, non-stop. I can identify and say the word "yellow". But so much for the week....HELLOOOOO Weekend. Today I went to the park with my daddy. I love the slide.

After lunch we went with Mommy to the zoo. I love the zoo. I got to see tons of animals and people too. My favorite was the Lion. He roared and I roared back. He's like a big Rusty. I love lions.

On the way home we had dinner at the Mellow Mushroom, yummy. After dinner we stopped by Barnes and Noble to look for some new books. They have a stage there and I got up and performed a interpretative dance/play of my day. I had the audience of Mommy and Daddy cracking up.

I stayed up pretty late, so Mommy and Daddy have high hopes that I will sleep in tomorrow morning. How silly.

The spoon is mightier than the hand

Usually when I'm eating dinner, I like to hold my spoon in my left hand and swing it around as I use my right hand to scoop my food from my plate into my mouth. I always just thought that the spoon was a shiny and funny looking toy to keep myself amused as I ate. I like to bang it against the table because it makes alot of noise. But you know what? Did you know that you can use a spoon to scoop up your food? It's true. You don't have to use your hands anymore if you don't want to. Yesterday, I started using my shiny silver spoon toy to feed myself an entire cup of chocolate pudding. It sure was good. My aim was a little off sometimes, so I ended up feeding a little bit of pudding to my eyes, hair, and even to the other side of the kitchen. But, it was so much fun. I'm going to practice again tonight. My parents are so proud of me.

Who knew that a spoon could be so useful?
