Metallica!

For Dad's birthday, I got him ticket to Metallica. I was hoping he would take me and if hadn't been for the flu I'm thinking he probably would have. Thankfully, Grammie came to the rescue for the second night in a row and watched me while Mom and Dad went to Metallica at the AAC.
Don't forget the tickets.
Metallica and fire....what a concert.
Jamming
Fire
And some loud music. What a night.
I'm glad to know that Dad liked his birthday gift. Maybe I will get to go with Dad to the next concert.

Monday Night Football

So while Grammie was at home with me on Monday Night, Mom and Dad were cheering on the Cowboys.
Mom and Dad pre-game, notice Dad is wearing a Star t-shirt as his loyalty to the Broncos makes it difficult to actually wear the words COWBOYS. And with the season going the way it is who can blame him.
The walk up to the new stadium.
Dad outside the stadium.
Notice Dad in the Navy shirt and jeans, he didn't really blend in with all the jerseys during tailgate time.
They did have some healthy snacks at the Farmer's Market stand. Mom and Dad saw a little boy with his Dad picking out a bag of grapes and thought of me. Then they proceeded to get a Black Angus Pepperjack Cheeseburger and some Nachos.
Baby Reed's view of the game.
The Jerry-tron....I mean jumbotron.
Go cowboys.
Dad with the camera. I think he took this picture for my Grandpa B, he loves the Cowboys and apparently their cheerleaders.
What a little field....or is it just a huge TV.
On the field.
In the stands.
A few close calls, but a shake of the hands ended the game.
The Cowboys win their first home game in the new stadium.......
And everyone was happy.
Bye bye stadium, maybe next time Dad will take me.

I don't feel good

I felt great yesterday I even took some pictures with Mom (with Baby Reed) and Dad in Denton with Miss Jacqueline. I will have to post some when we get them, they turned out super cute. Then the next day I woke up and I didn't feel so hot. All I wanted was to lay on the couch and rest, which for anyone who knows me knows that is crazy. I didn't want to jump, run around or play.
Me and Snoopy watching, "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and trying to get my fever to go away.

Tylenol and comic books made me feel a little bit better.

Dad helped me read through all my new comics.

When all the comics were read and as the tylenol wore off I turned to my Batman movies to make me feel better, but even that couldn't help.

I didn't even have the energy to sit up.

I eventually feel asleep on the couch as the stairs took too much energy and I wanted to stay close to Mom and Dad.
Grammie came to town to help take care of me, thank goodness she could make it at the last minute. Mom and Dad had tickets to Monday Night Football and a Metallica concert so I was happy they were still able to go. I had started feeling better by Tuesday, but unfortunately, I woke up Wednesday morning feeling really crummy again. Mom and Dad took to me to the Dr. and they found out I had gotten over the H1N1 flu, but I was starting to develop a sinus infection. I was all better by Friday and back at school, thanks for all the TLC Mom, Dad and Grammie.

Build a Bear videos

Making a special bear for Baby Reed, just like Mom and Dad made for me before I was born.

Build a Bear...and Monkey

We went to Build a Bear to pick out a bear for Baby Reed. Before I was born, Mom and Dad made me my Super Riley Bear and now all three of us are making a bear for Reed. I got to pick out any animal to make for Reed, I think he will like the Panda Bear I picked out.
Mom and Dad said I could make an animal for me, it's my special big brother monkey. Here I am helping stuff my monkey (I named him George). I stuffed him full of banana fluff.
Here I am giving George a kiss.
Picking out a heart for Reed's panda.
I picked out a solid red one. I figured Reed might not like the gingham, but the red satin sure is nice.
Teaching George monkey noises.
More kisses for George.
Tickling George's tummy.
Now we are ready to stuff Reed's bear.
Washing the bear.
Washing George.
Showing Reed's panda off to everyone in the store.
Introducing George to baby tiger toy.
Typing up George's birth certificate.
The certificate for Reed's panda.
The certificate for George.
Ummm, Reed's panda needs a house too please.
Getting ready to take my George home.
Carrying my buddy George.
I'm so strong that I can hold both my George and Reed's panda.
On the way out Mom decided I should be rewarded with a special big brother treat. I picked a cookie. It was so yummy.
Then as we were headed to the car we passed the skate park. I love watching the skate boarders. I think this scares my Mom. Sometimes she can't even watch the stunts. Silly Mommy.
I think I might need a skateboard for my birthday.
