R..I..L..E..Y

Mommy has been teaching me to spell my name. It's hard but I think I'm doing pretty good. What do you think?

Update on my latest adventures

Hi everybody. Here is a quick update on what I've been up to lately:

My mommy bought me some cool new PJs with lions, monkeys and elephants on them. I field tested them by chasing my Thomas the choo-choo ball around the neighborhood.

I also found that sitting on the back of the couch is my new favorite place to sit to watch my new favorite movie The Lion King

My dad has been taking me to the park a bunch to run around and play

Time to escape! Freeeeedommm!!!

My mom plays bubbles with me in the backyard. I think the bubbles taste yummy.
I helped supervise my daddy while he put together our new bike. Daddy, you're embarrassing me, this is supposed to be tough guy time!

Mommy sometimes camps out with me at nighttime when I have trouble sleeping.

My mommy and daddy took me Halloween shopping

You guys suck.

My mommy and daddy take me for walks every night around the neighborhood. Last night I got a special ice cream treat before heading out. I loved it!

Me at 6am Saturday morning watching Dumbo with mommy and daddy.

Check out my new shoes

Ok, so they aren't my shoes. All by myself I decided I would wear Mommy's shoes. I walked into the kitchen and Mommy and Daddy thought I looked different, but they couldn't put their finger on it.....until they noticed my shoes.

Here are some pics from my long weekend. On Saturday, we went over to my friend Caroline's to play. We got to swim in the pool. Yeah!!!

After we were all tuckered out from swimming, we put on our jammies and had a nice little dinner with Caroline and Daisy (her puppy). My favorite part was the chicken nuggets, grapes and my new favorite Mott's for Tots Apple Juice. Basically, everything.
Caroline liked it all too. I think Daisy was sad she didn't get any extras.
I got a cupcake to celebrate Daddy's Birthday. It was a lemon one from Sprinkles. Yummy.

Daddy and I talked Mommy into going to the Heard Museum in McKinney to see snakes and dinosaurs. Awesome. I got a wooden snake, named Jake. I took him on the Dinosaurs Alive tour. We loved it.
The dinos moved and roared. Daddy and I were brave and got very close to the dinos. Mommy hid behind the camera and was on constant look-out for snakes.
Here is Daddy and I with the T-Rex. You can't tell by the still picture, but the dino was moving his head down and looked like he was going to eat Daddy and I. Cool!!!
Daddy is so smart about snakes, dinos and all the cool bugs and animals. We even found a fellow Denver Broncos fan. What a great day.

Happy Birthday Daddy

This weekend my dad turned 30. He took this birthday pretty tough. He is feeling very old. Guess it doesn't help that I like to say "old". I got to eat lots of cookies, cupcakes and ice cream cake all weekend. I wished by Daddy turned 30 more often. I took him to Chuck E Cheese on Friday hoping it would make him feel younger. Here is a sketch we got at one of the machines.

Future 2024 Olympic Gold Medalist

Today I went to my friend Bobby's 2nd birthday party at the Little Gym. I had such a great time playing with the other kids and showing my mommy and daddy that I have no fear of heights or concept of bodily harm.

Playing under the parachute...

Hanging with my friend Caroline...
Working on my balance beam skills with mommy...

No fear...
Still working on my landing...
Refueling... More sugar...
Trying to fit the whole cake in my mouth... Mommy, can I give you a hug now?

Going Green

Today I woke up a little earlier, so Mommy and I walked to school. We got out the stroller and were all ready to go. Unfortunately, Mommy did not bring the camera to capture our victorious arrival at school. My parents have been talking about walking me to school since I first started going to school about 18 months ago.

Graduation Day

Today Dad and I graduated from Waterbabies. It was our last day of class, though I think we will be enrolling in the next session if I can save up my allowance money. Here are some pictures from class and our after class celebration at Chik-fil-a. After class I changed into my superman pjs. I looked super cool at Chik-fil-a. All the kids and some of the adults, mainly Dad, were jealous of my outfit.
