Christmas in August

Pop Pop, Dad and I went to the storage unit to get out some of my old baby clothes. Mom went through them all to figure out what we can use for baby Reed. I found this Santa outfit I wore at my first Christmas party. I thought it would be funny to put the shirt on my head like a hat and sing Christmas songs.
I can't wait for Christmas.
More silly pictures of Riley.
Daddy says this is his favorite picture because it looks like I am practicing my "ninja moves". Daddy says you have to watch out for those ninjas in the North Pole. They're tricky.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Do I have to take it off Mom?

Daddy's birthday at the castle

Pop Pop, Grammie, Woo Woo and Matt came to visit for Daddy's birthday. We were all very excited to celebrate all weekend with Daddy. Pop Pop and Grammie got me a fancy new shirt in Hawaii. I was very excited to wear it to match my Pop Pop. Here we are getting ready to go to Daddy's birthday party.
Here I am outside of the Medieval Times castle waiting for Daddy's birthday party to start. I was very excited about the castle.
Dad and I (oh and Superman too) can't wait for the party to start.
Walking into the party with Dad. He sure knows how to have a party.
Got my crown.....go red knight.
Watching the King make his grand entrance.
Meeting a knight.
Woo Woo got me a horse. I named him Tuff. He was a very good Daddy horsey. He liked watching the show with me. Here Pop Pop and I are playing with the horsey.
I also got a fancy blinking necklace. Woo Woo sure knows how to spoil me.
Me and Mommy counting down until the party starts.
Woo Woo and Matt.
Mommy, Me and Tuff.
We had our own personal table right next to the King. It was awesome.
Even though I had my own chair I liked to sit with Woo Woo and cheer on the horses.
After one of his victories the Red Knight threw a flower up towards Mommy and Woo Woo. Pop Pop was the one who caught it. He gave it to me and I gave it to Woo Woo.
Meet my knight friends. They were so cool.
Here is Woo Woo cheering with her flower.
I got to meet the horses.
Watching the show.
Come on Red Knight.I had a view like the King's, it was awesome.
It's not a real party until you turn your crown upside down.
Everyone at the castle. Daddy's birthday was the best party ever.

Daddy's birthday cookies

Today some birthday cookies arrived for Daddy's 31st birthday. Grandma B sent them and I'm pretty sure she would like me to enjoy them as well. Thankfully, Daddy is an excellent sharer. He let me have my pick of the cookies.

Here I am with the birthday present cookie I picked out.
It's so delicious.
Taste test.....
Passes with flying colors. Yummy!!!

Happy Birthday Bobby!

My friend Bobby turned 3. He had a special Dino birthday party at the Museum of Natural Science. Here I am getting ready to go party. Dad let me bring a dino with me.
Dino and Baby Tiger playing.
Here's the big T-Rex.
And a flying Dino.
And a little cupcake carnivore.....just kidding, that's me. I learned how to blow the birthday party horn.
And I watched Bobby blow out all his birthday candles, there were 3 which is a lot. (I potentially tried to blow them out with him, thankfully I was a little too far away).
Hello cupcake.
Get in my belly.
Now it's time to play. Here I am in the spiderweb.
I found a cow.
And some ducks.
Dad and I were watching a dino movie. I found it playing and just sat down and watched it. Dad was so happy, Mommy just runs through the museum, while Daddy and I prefer to savor it.
Dad and I learning.
Feeling the earthquake.
Playing with the hands on learning games.
Digging up dinosaur bones.
I like this part, it's like cleaning.
So proud.
It looks like I am super sad and don't want to leave which is probably true, but really it's just so bright outside.
Dad and I discussing going to the Central Market green chile festival. What a nice way to end a great birthday party.
