Looking for Batman

We were getting the AC fixed and the man came with all his tools. I was a little jealous, so Dad gave me a flashlight. I actually needed the flashlight as I couldn't find Batman.

Batman......where are you???
Are you upstairs?
Are you in the backyard?????
WHERE'S BATMAN.......I eventually found him in my room.

Walking with my daddy

After school I was really excited it wasn't too hot (anything under 100 is now considered cool), so I talked Daddy into going for a walk.
Talking Daddy into walking in the mild heat (around 95 degrees), included bribery of hugs and kisses.
Come on Dad....this way.
Here Dad is trying to negotiate as going that way usually ends up with going to the park.
Ok, Dad we can go the other way, but instead of walking lets run.
The handsomest dude in the neighborhood.

Rain Rain Go Away

Ok, so it wasn't a downpour, but I was super excited to try out my umbrella. I walked the umbrella all around the neighborhood with Mom and Dad.
Singing in the rain.
Holding the umbrella tightly.
Hold it up real high.
Hmmm...no drops of rain on me.....this umbrella must work really well....though there aren't any rain drops on the ground either.
Braving the elements...umbrella-less.
The neighbors must have thought there was a walking umbrella, as I was incognito.
Here's Riley!!
Tired of walking.....I hitched a ride with Daddy.
I made Dad hold the umbrella too.....he felt a little silly because it wasn't really raining, but you never know when it will suddenly pour down.
Here Dad is trying to figure out if his arm can hold me all the way back to our house.

Saturday

Dad hung up the portrait of me that he got for Christmas. Don't I look handsome.
All morning we played Batman. It was lots of fun.
Daddy played Batman at first, but then I took over.
Batman climbing up the batcave.
Look Mom....it's Batman.
Vacuuming with my Dad. We like it to be clean.

Baking more cookies

We ran out of the last batch of cookies I made. Daddy and I went to the store and bought more cookie dough. When we got home we went to baking. Here I am on my cooking stool.
Big smiles for cookies.
Putting all the cookies on the tray.
Mom brought home some pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. We have to eat dinner before we eat cookies.
Yum.
Now it's cookie time.

Mommy and Me

I like hanging out with Mom. She might not be able to fly me around the house, but we still have fun.
We like being a little bit silly.

Cookie Cookie Cookie!

After school today, Dad had a special treat for me. We were going to make cookies. I got out my cooking step stool, a baking sheet and our cookie dough and we were all set.
Doing the cookie dance
One legged banana eating while waiting for the cookies to finish baking...
Dad said if I ate a banana then I could have a cookie when they were through baking. A banana has never tasted as good when you know you will follow it up with a warm chocolate chip cookie.Cookies are done!
Daddy says they're hot so I blow on them.
Can we eat them yet?
They feel cool enough to me dad
Using the spatula to get the cookie from the cookie sheet to the plate.....a delicate process.
Running the warm cookie on the plate to the table so we can eat.
It's so good, I can almost taste it.
Get in my tummy cookie.
More cookie action....potentially cookie #2.
These cookies were so good they required two hands to eat.
After cookie time it was bathtime and new jammie modeling time. I love my new batman underroos.

Sunday Funday

Today I had an extra special day with Dad. We went to the movies to see Ice Age. I was so excited I couldn't even sleep for my nap. Here I am by the poster at the movie theatre.
We got a free movie poster to bring home, so we showed Mommy who all the characters are. Dad and I both loved the movie. Now I hope they will let me see Ice Age 1 and 2.
I love Manny, Buck and Diego (aka Baby Tiger). And at the end of the movie I told everyone that the baby wooly mammoth was "so cute".
After nap time and more playing at home with Mommy, Dad and I decided to go out to play....only problem is that it was hot. So we stopped by McD's to refuel before playing. I loved my happy meal, but was slightly disappointed the Ice Age toys ended the day before.
The we went to a local indoor playland called "the tubes". It is run by a church in our area, but open to the public for free. Here I am climbing....
Running....
and sliding.
I love the tubes.
More climbing.
Watching Dad from above.
Playing on the outdoor playland.
Climbing on the boat.
Sliding.
And pretending the ledge is the McDonald's counter and I'm taking Dad's order. Daddy you want burger, fries, ice cream.
