More Jungle Gym and Family Walk

On Tuesdays, Mom picks me up early from school and we go to storytime. This week before storytime, my Mom took me to the park first. Here we are at the swings.
Yep, Woody came with us again. Here he is on his own swing. If you look real close you can see him.
Here we are on the slide. Woody went first, he's an excellent slider.
Then Woody and I went to storytime. The librarian said I came very prepared as this week's theme is "Cowboys". Woody and I like singing, dancing and listening to the stories.
See, here's Woody at storytime.
After storytime, I went home and changed into my sidewalk chalk clothes. It's amazing how messy sidewalk chalk can be. Woody likes to watch me color, so he got to come outside too.
After I was done playing with the sidewalk chalk, I got my gardening bucket with wheels on it. I put Woody in the bucket and pushed him around the neighborhood.
See there's Woody.
Later I told Mom to get in the bucket, but she told me she wouldn't fit. So I decided to get in the bucket instead. She said pushing me like this felt really good on her back.
All along my walk I noticed my shadow. Right before we got home I noticed that Mom and Dad have shadows too.....and so does the bucket which Mom got stuck carrying all the way home. Guess which shadow is mine???
Once I got home I needed a little more sidewalk chalk time. Mom and I colored and colored. The sidewalk was extra chalky and Mom knew I was going to take a bath so we played with the sidewalk chalk. It was so fun to be silly.
Can you tell what color sidewalk chalk Mom and I were playing with??

Jungle Gym Daredevil

So last night it hailed. We didn't have any damage and I didn't even notice it as I was asleep, but Dad took this picture so I would know what happened.

I went to school and learned about rain and clouds and made a picture with cotton ball clouds. After school Mom took me to a new playground. It is at a playground in a new elementary school by my house. Here I am climbing the rock wall.
Notice that Woody is still coming with me everywhere. Woody was a very good climber.
Woody also liked going down the huge slide with me. Can you believe how tall this slide is.
Here I am showing all the kids how to climb up the metal bars to get to the slide.
I gave Woody to Mom and climbed up to the very top of the jungle gym.
Climbing is a great upper body workout. Maybe next time I should use my feet more.
I saw a big kid playing basketball and I wanted to play too. I found a soccer ball and ran over to play with him.
Later I went home and we ate dinner with Dad. Dad gave me a bath and afterward we jammed out on the guitar. Here I am putting on a concert for Mom and Dad.

Shopping and Wagon Rides

Watching my morning cartoons in my jammies with who else but Woody.
We went to Northpark (3rd mall in 3 days). There dad and I saw the School of Rock kids performing for the AFI Dallas Film Festival. It was so awesome. The kids played lots of Metallica and Zeppelin. Dad and I looked on in envy.
I was surprised to see my friend Elmo at the mall. He is so silly, he kept tickling me.
Dad and I found a cool water fountain in the mall. We also saw turtles and ducks in the water.
Then we went to Twisted Root Burger in Deep Ellum for burgers and fries. I was so hungry, that I ate through all our snacks before our burgers and fries were done. Not to worry, I still had room for my lunch. Dad took this picture.
Here I am playing by the fig tree in our backyard with Woody. (I found where Dad was hiding my mardi gras beads).
I went for a wagon ride with my Dad.....oh and Woody. We went back home to get pants for me and to get Mom. I refueled with some apple juice.

Hanging with Grammie and Pop-Pop

Today I woke up and Grammie and Pop Pop were still here. I was very happy that they didn't leave yet, as I love all the attention I get. In the morning we played around the house before heading to the mall to go shopping. I was asleep all morning until we pulled into the parking lot of Stonebriar Mall. I slept in my stroller for the majority of the trip to the mall.

Sleeping in my stroller. Waking up to the sight of Minnie Mouse, what a great day.
I found Daisy Duck.
Look Dad it's Woody.
Guess who got a new Woody doll??? I needed one since all I have is Buzz.
Woody and I playing at the playland at the Willowbend Mall (I know, two malls in one day, my family is mall crazy).
Pop Pop, Woody and I headed to the car....it's that way.
Before Grammie and Pop Pop left I got to open my Easter basket. It was full of books, toys, and Peeps. Tons and tons of peeps of all colors. I'm in Peep Heaven.
Reading one of my new books.
Getting Mom to open my peeps.
Eating one of many Peeps.
All the sugar from the Peeps has Woody and I climbing the walls.

Happy Birthday Mommy!!

Today is my Mom's birthday. She's 3-0. For her birthday, Dad and I picked out some real nice cards, some roses and a balloon and some beautiful James Avery earrings.

Mom's birthday happened to be the same day as a playdate with her sorority sisters. It was the first of hopefully many playdates. Bobby, Ben and Caroline were there along with several new friends. After the Gymboree Playdate, we went to a bounce house place. Here are Bobby and I playing in the Sesame Street bounce house.

Here I am going down one of the bounce house slides.
Shooting some bounce house hoops.
Climbing up the bounce house walls with Bobby.
Me and Caroline running to another bounce house.
When I got home Grandma and Pop Pop were at the house. They watched me while Mom and Dad went to Pappas Bros Steakhouse to celebrate Mom's big birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY.

The new and improved Riley World

Today I went to school with Dad. Once I got to the room and saw my friend Tia, I quickly told Dad bye and walked him out the door. After Dad left I went up to Tia and she gave me a hug. I think Dad might have peeked through the windows and caught me. Today we read lots of books, made art crafts and played inside. After school Mom picked me up and we went home. I ran to the couch and got my stuffed Bolt and asked Mom super nicely if she would watch Bolt with me. She said yes, but we had to do our chore of getting the mail first. I ran to the door and Mom and I got the mail from the mailbox. I was super surprised to see a letter for me. It was an Easter card complete with stickers from Grandma B. Thanks Grandma, I love sure do love stickers. While I was watching Bolt, Mom helped clean up my train table (which is lovingly referred to as Riley World, as it is were all my toys end up being piled up).
Here I am with Bolt watching Bolt.
A Bolt close-up.
Riley World all cleaned up.
You can see all the pieces of Riley World which were previously on the table. They took up a whole toy bin, which stows away neatly under one of my easels.
It's much easier to play with my trains, now that there aren't toys stacked all over them.
Reading a book with Mom.I'm very enthusiastic about my Mickey Mouse books.
